AXA IM expands its fixed income ETF range with US treasuries exposure

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) is expanding its fixed income ETF range with two new building blocks: AXA IM ICE US Treasury +25Y UCITS ETF listed today and AXA IM ICE US Treasury 0-1Y UCITS ETF listing later in the month.

AXA IM ICE US Treasury +25Y UCITS ETF: this ETF aims to replicate the performance of the ICE® US Treasury 25+ Year Bond Index, net of management fees, both upwards and downwards. It offers exposure to sovereign debt publicly issued by the US government in its domestic market and denominated in US dollars. With the longest duration available on the market, this ETF offers a unique proposition for investors who desire long-term exposure to fixed income markets.

AXA IM ICE US Treasury 0-1Y UCITS ETF: this ETF aims to replicate the performance of the ICE® BofA 0-1 Year US Treasury Index, net of management fees, both upwards and downwards. It offers exposure to US sovereign debt that matures in under a year and denominated in US dollars. Due to its short maturity, this dynamic building block enables investors to invest their cash in US dollars in the short term.

US Treasuries are recognised as a safe haven and a core building block for many investors, not least because of their high liquidity. By offering our clients and prospects two ETFs positioned at the extreme ends of the curve, these products complete our range of bond ETFs, providing investors with dynamic products to build their portfolios. In this way, they can easily capture the rise and fall of US interest rates, at a low cost,” commented Olivier Paquier, Global Head of ETF Sales at AXA IM.

The Total Expense Ratio (TER) of each ETF will reach 0,07%1. It does not take into account any transaction fees charged by intermediaries.

AXA IM ICE US Treasury +25Y UCITS ETF (tickers: ADLU for the accumulation share class and A2DU for the distribution share class) is available in USD and EUR2 on Deutsche Boerse – XETRA and in EUR2 on Borsa Italiana. It will be listed on SIX Swiss Exchange in USD soon. AXA IM ICE US Treasury 0-1Y UCITS ETF (tickers: A01U for the accumulation share class and A0DU for the distribution share class) will be listed in USD and EUR2 on the same stock exchanges and in the same order in a few weeks.

At their respective launches, the ETFs will be available for sale in Austria, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy (limited to institutional investors until its listing in Italy), Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden.

With $2.87bn of asset under management at end of September 2024, AXA IM’s ETF range is now composed of 13 ETFs including 6 equity and fixed income ETFs exposed to US markets.

The market price of the UCITS ETF might not be identical to its net asset value at any time. The UCITS ETF aims to replicate the performance of the index and its market price can be different from its net asset value and from the net asset value of the index.

Capital at risk. The value of investments, and the income from them, can fall as well as rise and investors may not get back the amount originally invested.

1 ISIN codes of the share classes: ISIN IE000GBYNAU4 (max TER: 0.07%), ISIN IE000WPH0239 (max TER: 0.07%), ISIN IE00087GRUR0 (max TER: 0.07%), ISIN IE000PO34ON2 (max TER: 0.07%). Investment will be reduced by the costs mentioned.
